AUBURN REGIONAL MEDIA ACCESS APPOINTS MANAGING DIRECTOR
Auburn Public Access (ARMA) was formed around the understanding of the ever
changing world of broadcast communication. As part of that ever changing landscape
the organization has reached another level of growth that has dictated the need for
management level staffing. Cathy Tripiciano will serve as the newly appointed Managing
Director for Auburn Regional Media Access.
Tripiciano has over 13 years of experience in television production and broadcast
communications. Previously she was employed by WCNY-TV & Classic FM as a
Producer/Director in the local origination programming department as well as serving as
the Director of Special Events and Volunteer Services. Tripiciano is an adjunct professor
at Cayuga Community College in the Media and Telecommunications Programs. She is
also the owner of her own public relations firm based in Auburn, NY specializing in the
social media and online presence of professionals in the entertainment industry. Her
clients include an Academy Award winning film-maker and a critically acclaimed actress
familiar to film and television audiences alike.
Tripiciano stated “I am very pleased to bring my range of experience in both television production and entertainment promotion to ARMA. I look forward to helping usher ARMA into the next stage of its development as a non-profit media organization and to assist my community in sharing their voice.”
ARMA is in the initial stages of constructing a DIY Studio space with professional video and audio equipment, as well as a control room allowing subscribers to utilize the studio for interviews and communication projects on a variety of topics and functions within the Auburn area. Tripiciano will assist in the fundraising and oversight of the project as well as the organization’s day to day operations.
