Inside Government with Guy Cosentino

Guy’s guests will be Auburn City Manager Jeff Dygert to give an overview of his 2018-2019 proposed City Budget.

Air-times: 

Thursday April 26th at 7:00pm and Saturday & Sunday at 5:00 PM

That will be followed by a second “Inside Government with Guy Cosentino“” with Cayuga County Legislative Chairman Patrick Mahunik and County Administrator Justin J. Woods discussing government consolidation and the recently released report from the Center for Governmental Research of Rochester.

Thursday April 26th @ 7:30 pm and Saturday & Sunday at 5:30pm

Next week, the final show of the season will be a Candidate Forum for the Auburn Enlarged School District that is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1st. Citizen Executive Editor Jeremy Boyer will ask questions and Guy Cosentino will moderate the hour-long forum.

All programs are streamed live and archived on the Telcom Department’s YouTube channel, Media@Cayuga. Viewers should open YouTube in a browser or app and then enter Media@Cayuga in the search bar.

The shows are rebroadcast starting at 10 AM each Saturday morning on the College’s station, WDWN – 89.1 FM.

New Talkin’ Sports This Month

Ormie King’s guest this month is Dave Moskov.

Moskov is the Auburn High School football coach who led the team to the 2006 State Championship. Ormie and Dave discuss his career, football, and local sports.

Candidate Forum

The 11th Legislative District featuring Democrat Elane Daly and Republican Michael Lesch. The seat is currently held by Democrat Frank Reginelli, who has decided not to seek a second term. The 11th Legislative District covers the northeast portion of the City of AuburnThe show will air at 7:00 PM on Spectrum 12 on Tuesday and Thursday the 26th at 8 PM and will replay on Spectrum’s 12 and 98 and FIO’s Verizon Channel 31 on Saturday, October 28th and Sunday, October 29th at 5:00 PM from the Auburn Regional Media Access.

 

Beyond The Front Page with Guy Cosentino

A discussion of the 2017 Cayuga Reads Program with author Kate Clifford Larson, the author of “Bound For the Promise Land”, a biography of Harriet Tubman and Seymour Library Librarian Lisa Carr to preview the Cayuga Reads event on Wednesday night at the Auburn Public Theatre. The show airs at 8 PM on Spectrum 12 on Tuesday and will replay on Spectrum’s 12 & 98 and FIOS Verizon Channel 31 on Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th at 6 PM from the Auburn Regional Media Access (ARMA).

Candidate Forum

The 13th Legislative District featuring Republican incumbent Timothy C. Lattimore and his Democrat challenger, Robert Nodzo. The 13th Legislative District covers the center portion of the City of Auburn. The show will air at 7:00 PM on Spectrum 12 on Thursday and Tuesday the 31st at 8 PM and will replay on Spectrum’s 12 and 98 and FIO’s Verizon Channel 31 on Saturday, October 28th and Sunday, October 29th at 6:30 PM from the Auburn Regional Media Access.

The shows are rebroadcast starting at 10 AM each Saturday morning on the College’s station, WDWN – 89.1 FM.

 

We finish off our forums with the race for City Council, on October 31st, Halloween, where we will bring together all four candidates on the ballot – incumbents Debby McCormick and Terry Cuddy who are being challenged by John Camardo and Adam Miller.

Fearless Video Productions on ARMA-TV

ARMA is pleased to welcome four new series to your air-waves. “Let’s Talk,” “Riding Round with Wheel People,” “Easy Street,” and “Selected Shorts.” The series are produced in partnership between Fearless Video Productions and Arc of Seneca Cayuga.

FVP is a class offered through Arc of Seneca Cayuga’s performing arts programs, Spot Light Studio. The studio provides opportunities for personal growth through self-expression in the creative arts. The classes are conducted by Arc Staff and a team of professional consultants including Bob Piorun, Rachael Tissot and Ed Sayles.

Beyond the Front Page & Inside Government for this week

This week we have new versions of the “Inside Government” and “Beyond the Front Page with Guy Cosentino” programs. Shows air on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9 pm on Auburn Time Warner Cable Channel 12 and replay on Time Warner’s 12 & 98 and FIOS Verizon Channel 31 during the weekend. The shows can also be seen on the Telcom Dept’s YouTube channel (Media@Cayuga)as a live stream Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30. The shows are archived on YouTube and can also be accessed any time after the live stream is finished. The shows are recorded at the College on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons by the students of the Cayuga  Community College Telcom/Media Department.

Inside Government with Guy Cosentino

Guy’s guest will be Assemblyman Robert Oaks (R-130th) who represents parts of Northern Cayuga County in the  New York State Legislature. He will be give an Albany Update. The Assemblyman is a member of the Assembly Ways and Means Committee and will be asked about the recently passed New York State Budget.

We do not produce any of the programming that we air, the programming is provided by the producers of the program.

Each week we bring you LOCAL and NATIONAL PEG programming. We air the AUBURN CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS weekly as well as the CAYUGA COUNTY LEGISLATURE MEETINGS.
